2 DAYS 1 NIGHT TO TARANGIRE/NGORONGORO DAY 1: TARANGIRE Early morning at 05:00, pickup from your Zanzibar hotel and transfer to the airport. Take a domestic flight at 07:30 to Arusha Airport, then drive to Tarangire National Park. Arrive around 11:30 for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch, looking for the park’s huge elephants and big cats until 18:00. After the game drive, visit a Maasai village for 30–45 minutes, then transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Octagon Lodge or a similar category. DAY 2: NGORONGORO Early breakfast at 05:30, then depart at 06:00 for the one-hour drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is famous for its Big Five and beautiful volcanic mountain views. It is one of the best places in Tanzania to see black rhino and prides of lion, including magnificent black-maned males. Look for colourful flamingos, waterbirds, leopard, cheetah, hyena, other antelope and small mammals. After lunch, transfer to Arusha Airport for the return flight to Zanzibar. Our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you back to your hotel.
